Elaine Thomaston joined the firm as an Associate in 2008. She is originally from Alabaster, Alabama and graduated from Auburn University in 2003 where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Criminology. Elaine earned her Juris Doctorate from Jones School of Law in 2006 and began her legal career as a law clerk for Hon. Richard Lane, Lee County Family Court. The experience Elaine gathered during her clerkship is invaluable to her domestic relations practice.

Elaine is admitted to practice in Alabama courts and is a member of the American Bar Association and Alabama Bar Association, where she remains an active member of the Family Law Section. Elaine is also a member of the Lee County Bar Association. She actively participates as a member of the Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program and volunteers with the Wills for Heroes Program. Elaine is available to assist clients in all Alabama counties, but her practice is primarily focused in East Alabama (Lee, Tallapoosa, Macon, and Chambers counties).

Elaine is actively involved with the American Cancer Society serving on both the Committee for Lee County Relay for Life and on the Junior Executive Board of Lee County.
